Katie isn’t just an amazing photographer who elegantly captures our family in each new season of life; she’s also become a part of our family tradition. Every fall, we look forward to scheduling Katie for our family photo session, which doubles as a fun outing for the kids in beautiful scenaries around Marin. She has watched them grow, effortlessly engages with them, and goes with the flow to capture unexpected moments—whether it's my son showing off his photography skills, a playful ball toss between my son and husband, or a close-up of my hand holding my toddler's. The final photos become holiday cards and decorations on our walls—these are treasured moments, and I trust Katie to deliver them every year!

We had another great session with Katie this last Spring, and we couldn’t be happier with the stellar collection of images she made of our family. There are more than a few images where I could say of each one “this is a priceless treasure.” I’m always impressed with how she captures who we are so honestly and beautifully, but also the environments and atmospheres around us so thoughtfully. Working with Katie is always a pleasure—she’s got a talent for making shoots fun but well paced, all while capturing the right moments. And she is really good with little ones too—our 6-year old son loves Katie.
